Brooks and streams; cold, clear, crisp waters filled with trout.
Small little fish hooked with barbs like a sharp anchor of a ship.
They glisten with a metallic luster.
Blood red salmon eggs deposited as thy tasty treat.
The river runs through here...
Little fish hide in deep ponds.
Serene ponds alive with cold water fish.
Rattle snakes scurry past us.
Rattles warn us of impending doom, watch out!
We walk through the trails in strong waterproof boots.
We were ready for anything -that day.
